Is it heavy or greasy?

No. This is the most common assumption about barrier moisturizers — and the exact problem we formulated against. MCT oil absorbs completely. The silicone network is breathable, not occlusive in the traditional sense. You feel soft, not coated.

Can oily skin use it?

Yes. Non-comedogenic. The emollients are fast-absorbing and don't clog pores. Oily skin often over-produces sebum because the barrier is compromised — a stronger barrier means skin that doesn't need to overcompensate. Less oil, not more.

WILL IT WORK IN HUMID INDIAN WEATHER?

Designed for it. Lightweight, non-sticky texture that doesn't melt, slide, or feel suffocating at 35–40°C. Works as well in Mumbai humidity as it does in Bangalore AC.

HOW LONG DOES THE HYDRATION LAST?

8+ hours. The breathable moisture shield reduces transepidermal water loss continuously. Most users report skin still feels hydrated at the end of the workday — not tight, not dry, not needing reapplication.

CAN I USE IT UNDER SUNSCREEN AND MAKEUP?

Yes. Absorbs fully without leaving a greasy or tacky film. No pilling. Creates a smooth base for SPF and makeup. Give it 60 seconds to absorb before applying the next layer.

CAN I SKIP SERUM AND JUST USE THIS?

You can - it works on its own as a barrier-support moisturizer. But it performs best as the seal step after serum. The biomimetic lipids reinforce the barrier while the moisture shield locks in your serum's actives. Together, they hold longer than either would alone.

DOES IT HAVE SPF?

No. This is a barrier-support and hydration-retention product. For sun protection, follow with the BLUVÉ ScreenGuard SunMilk SPF 50 PA++++. The moisturizer creates an ideal base for it.

WILL IT CLOG MY PORES?

Non-comedogenic formula. MCT oil is one of the least pore-clogging emollients available. The silicone network sits as a breathable film - it doesn't penetrate into pores. Designed for daily use on all skin types, including acne-prone.

IS IT ENOUGH FOR VERY DRY SKIN?

For most dry skin, yes - the biomimetic lipids actively replenish the barrier lipids that dry skin lacks. For extremely dry or cracked skin, you may want to layer it over the Hya-Lutea CaroShield Serum for deeper hydration underneath. The moisturizer then seals it all in.

WHAT DOES "BIOMIMETIC" ACTUALLY MEAN?

It means the lipids in this moisturizer are structurally similar to the lipids your skin barrier is already made of - Phospholipids and Sphingolipids. Your skin recognises them. They integrate into the barrier rather than sitting on top. That's why it absorbs the way it does.
